Cuppa and Collaboration
This is our newest drop-in for Community Sponsorship group members to meet and share experiences of Community Sponsorship.
Cuppa and Collaboration: practical sessions for real-world challenges
Our Cuppa and Collaboration sessions are informal, interactive online gatherings for anyone involved in Community Sponsorship — whether you’re just getting started or have been supporting families for years.
Each session focuses on a key topic that comes up when welcoming and supporting families. Past themes have included:
Working with schools
Supporting adults into employment
Using interpreters effectively
Embedding trauma-informed practice
…and more to come.
We’ll be joined by expert guests from organisations like the International Rescue Committee and the Refugee Employability Programme, who’ll share practical advice and highlight what support is available to your group. There’s always space for questions, discussion and learning from each other.
