Our Impact
Community Sponsorship is the best thing I have done. It has shaped me as a person. It's a great gift to be able to do this, and I can't wait to tell my children some day about what I did. I couldn't have done it without Reset.

Since 2018, Reset has supported the Community Sponsorship movement across the UK.
Reset Communities for Refugees is a UK-based national non-profit and the only organisation solely dedicated to community-led refugee resettlement. Established in 2018, we have grown into the country’s foremost authority on grassroots refugee welcome — training, mobilising, and supporting community groups to open their doors to those who need it most.
We believe that when communities are properly supported to welcome and integrate displaced people, outcomes improve for everyone: refugees settle and rebuild their lives, communities grow stronger, and refugee protection becomes more trusted. Reset operates as the critical link between central government, local authorities, and community groups — connecting policy with frontline practice, and feeding learning back into system design.
Since 2018, we have trained over 9,000 volunteers, supported more than 250 Community Sponsorship groups to welcome over 1,200 refugees, and equipped more than 5,000 hosts through the Homes for Ukraine scheme — with 90% of arrangements sustained after 6–12 months. Our training and support consistently achieves high satisfaction rates, shaped by years of learning alongside the communities we serve.
Our vision is a community-led welcome pathway that is safe, consistent, and inspiring — and we believe the power to make that happen lies within communities themselves.
