It offers a blend of videos, resources, and firsthand insights into Afghan society and culture, covering key topics like family life, festivals, and leisure activities.

This course has been developed by the Reset training team alongside an Expert by Experience from Afghanistan who was welcomed to the UK under Community Sponsorship. Information comes from trusted sources (such as the UN, IRC, UNHCR) and is referenced throughout the course.

After completing this course you’ll feel confident and well-prepared to welcome a family from Afghanistan!
You’ll have a greater understanding of Afghanistan’s history and geography, and access to resources for further reading and viewing to deepen your knowledge of the country.

On completion – you’ll get a certificate.
